Update

To our closest friends and family,
Greetings everyone! It has been three months since our last letter and we would like to update you on our lives. The fall semester was trying but now that it is over, seems to have past like a flash of lightning. Chad graduated with a degree in biology and is still awaiting reply from PA schools. Whitney will begin student teaching in the spring, kindergarten and fourth grade, and will graduate in May. We have been greatly blessed this semester, God’s hand has been very apparent in our lives and we are looking forward to his future plans for us.
Our focus on God in our lives has brought us to a place where we are firmly grounded upon our purpose and mission within the Kingdom of God. As we end our time at Lubbock Christian, we look to the horizon with hope and excitement for what is planned for us. We have clarity knowing that a loving Father, who faithfully goes with us, guides us with every step we take. As we walk with Him, we believe that one of our next steps extends itself all the way across the world. As husband and wife we are planning a special, six-week trip to Tanzania and Kenya, in May and June 2011. While we are there we will be learning about different ministries that are already going on in each country while also focusing on the prospect of long-term opportunities for us in the future. We will be looking into the field of medicine, for Chad, and the field of education, for Whitney. To guide us we have our mentor Jim Beck; currently a missions professor at LCU; a man who served in Kenya for a number of years and who is planning on moving back there within the year. We will also be spending a major portion of our time with missionaries Tim and Becky Talley at their new home in Tanga, Tanzania.
As our closest friends and family we have a major desire for you all to be a part of our journey. We love the idea that, as the body of Christ, we are all connected by love in spirit. Through our connection we are given the privilege to give freely to one another spiritual and physical gifts. We ask you, our brothers and sisters, to join with us by helping fund our trip. By taking that step we will not only be fulfilling God’s call for us to offer ourselves to one another, but we will also have the privilege to walk together as partners on the road God has already set before us. We are blessed to be a part of the body of Christ and feel the warmth of your prayers and the solidarity of your support. Thank you all for taking a part in our journey.
In Christ’s Incarnate Love,
Chad and Whitney Pacanowski
